Grabados en 1974 y 1975, Fighting y Night Life fueron los primeros álbumes de Thin Lizzy en presentar lo que se considera la formación clásica con los guitarristas Scott Gorham y Brian Robertson. Night Life se estrenó en noviembre de 1974 producido por Ron Nevison y Phil Lynott y cuenta con clásicos como Still in Love with You y Sha La La. Fighting fue lanzado en septiembre de 1975 y alcanzó el número 60 en las listas del Reino Unido y contó con canciones como Rosalie y Suicide. Esta caja contiene las dos versiones de Night Life, el álbum original y una nueva mezcla estéreo de Richard Whittaker supervisada por el guitarrista Scott Gorham y masterizada por Geoff Pesche en Abbey Road. Fighting se ha remasterizado recientemente e incluye cuatro pistas recién remezcladas en estéreo. Los otros discos contienen mezclas inéditas provenientes del archivo de la banda, tomas descartadas, caras B, sesiones de radio y, por primera vez, oficialmente un concierto de Derby grabado en 1975.
La caja, una caja de 10 x 10, se completa con notas escritas por Mark Blake (mojo) e incluye un libro de 40 páginas de tapa dura repleto de fotos raras y recuerdos con contribuciones del colaborador Jim Fitzpatrick.
